PAROL's HISTORY

 The history of PAROL from then to today

In 2003, Irina Berg started Gen'ren, a re-design shop in Randers that employed 7 freelance designers. The vision was to re-design quality clothing, and thus give it a new and modern look.

In retrospect, Irina was ahead of our time when it came to sustainability.

It was an amazing and educational journey that created a fire in her to design and produce timeless designs from quality materials. She also learned how important it is for women to be able to have their own personal expression through styles produced in limited numbers.

PAROL today is casual, classic clothing with unique details and cuts that emphasize the feminine touch.

At PAROL, we strive to use the best and most natural breathable yarns and fabrics, so that the clothes are elegant, comfortable and can be used throughout the seasons.

PAROL's clothes are designed for YOU, who can nod in recognition to the following:

• I want my clothes to suit several situations, casual as well as business
• I need my clothes to be both smart and comfortable to wear
• I love that my clothes can be combined and used year after year

Production and sustainability

Our production is only carried out in the EU, primarily the Baltic countries, and only in factories where, through personal commitment and cultural understanding, we can vouch for the working conditions.

It is more expensive to produce in the EU, but PAROL emphasizes the close and direct communication with the factories, the short production time and transport which minimizes the CO2 footprint.

The ongoing styles in limited quantities are our DNA as slow fashion, to reduce waste.

Our commitment

PAROL Zero Waste was born from Irina's experience from Gen'ren. The Zero Waste line was created out of the desire to have as little waste as possible and help make the earth a better place to live, for people and animals. 

Material leftovers from the production of PAROL's collections are used to create accessories that can be used both as gifts or as a little treat for yourself. Check out the current accessories from PAROL Zero Waste here.
