On sustainability

PAROL has chosen to be sustainable from the start - before it was talked about. We just did it. 

LIMITED EDITION has always been part of PAROL's DNA, to reduce waste and meet women's need to be unique in their clothing style.

Our production is only carried out in the EU, primarily the Baltic countries, and only in factories where, through personal commitment and cultural understanding, we can vouch for the working conditions.

PAROL's chief designer, Irina Berg and her team, are in close contact with the factories and use Danish principles, which locally involve the development department and production in the creative process.

It is more expensive to produce in the EU, but PAROL emphasizes high quality, the short production time and less transport, which greatly reduces the CO2 footprint.

Raw materials such as fabrics, yarns and accessories for collections are mainly purchased in Europe, and a little in Japan, therefore we can vouch for them. If there is only a limited amount of a textile or yarn left, that determines the number. We attach great importance to our suppliers being ethically responsible and environmentally certified such as ICEA and GOTS.

Sustainability is not just something you do, but is a never-ending process that we can only lift together.
